How to find out if your favourite brand is on the menu at your local Bulla Dairy
I’ve had to learn that my favourite brand doesn’t appear on Bulla’s menu.
I’ve been eating beef jerky at a couple of my local Bullas for several years now, but they never made me look at their menu, and I’ve never noticed any signs of the brand.
I can’t blame them.

It’s a popular choice among the South African middle class, who are generally frugal about their spending and don’t like the thought of spending huge amounts of money on expensive and unhealthy products.
The dairy brand has a huge reputation among young people, and they’re also the first brands to sell milk ice cream in South African supermarkets.
This was the reason why my friend and colleague, Naliza, was so upset when I told her that I didn’t buy any milk ice creams at Bulla.
“Well, Bulla is selling ice cream, so they can’t be selling dairy products,” she said.
